Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Ithaca crews are already moving. Hirex Water Damage sends licensed technicians straight to your Ithaca address with extraction equipment already loaded and running.
We built our Ithaca branch after hearing the same complaint over and over from Ithaca, NY property owners β the "24/7" number that never actually answers. Every technician on our Ithaca roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Ithaca isn't a side service we tacked on β it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Ithaca, NY, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Because our equipment lives in a Ithaca, NY warehouse rather than out of state, we're not waiting on a supply run before we can start extraction.
Ask any Ithaca property manager who has dealt with a burst supply line at 3am β the difference between a crew that shows up ready and one still loading a truck at the shop is measured in gallons of water soaking into your subfloor. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Ithaca call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Ithaca started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse β call our Ithaca line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Ithaca crews scale the response to match the loss β nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Ithaca property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Ithaca, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Ithaca businesses and property managers get a dedicated project lead, after-hours crews, and equipment scaled to square footage rather than a single-crew response β we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination β our Ithaca crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
On top of standard drying, our Ithaca crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Our Ithaca, NY warehouse keeps drying equipment close, which typically puts a Ithaca tech at your door inside an hour.
Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
A short call with our Ithaca dispatcher tells us whether this is a one-room job or a multi-crew response before anyone drives out.
The closest available technician is routed to your Ithaca property with equipment staged and ready.
We remove standing water first, then map moisture and position air movers and dehumidifiers based on the readings.
We don't close the file until the numbers confirm the structure is dry, and you leave with full photo and moisture documentation.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and we won't sign off on a Ithaca job until those readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact commitment printed on your Ithaca paperwork, not just mentioned over the phone. We try to send the original technician back for any follow-up so you're not re-explaining the job to someone new.
